Belinda Haikes is an interdisciplinary artist whose work draws on human perceptions and connections.By the time she was 15 she had lived in three countries, which gave her a keen interest in the instability of human memory in the modern global condition. Her works have been shown in Artspace in Richmond ,VA, The Philadelphia Art Alliance, Philadelphia, PA, Target Gallery, Washington DC, The Foundry Gallery, London and Vizivarosi Gallery, Budapest, Hungary. Belinda is also currently a PhD student at Virginia Commonwealth University’s Media, Art and Text program where she is investigating the effects of technology our perceptions of public and private space.
